Celebrate Baby Goat Shavuot at Milk and Honey Farm

Celebrate Baby Goat Shavuot at Milk and Honey Farm

Kick off summer with an unforgettable family celebration at Milk and Honey Farm! Join us on Tuesday, June 3, from 4:15 – 6:30 pm for Baby Goat Shavuot, a joyful gathering honoring new life on the farm, the season’s first fruits, and the beloved Jewish holiday of Shavuot.

Shavuot, also known as the “Feast of Weeks,” is celebrated seven weeks after Passover and marks the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai. It also coincides with the biblical wheat harvest and is often associated with consuming dairy foods. What better way to celebrate than by welcoming our newest baby goats and enjoying farm-fresh pizza?

This spring, our goat Zimri gave birth to two adorable kids, and we’re thrilled to introduce them to our community. Families will have the chance to meet these playful new additions, connect with the rhythms of the land, and take part in earth-based Shavuot activities rooted in tradition, agriculture, and joy.

The event is geared toward families with children ages 1–10 and their siblings, but all are welcome to experience the beauty of the farm in full bloom. Dinner will be provided—delicious, fresh pizza made on the farm in partnership with Moxie Bread Company.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the start of summer with hands-on experiences, meaningful Jewish learning, and the cuteness of baby goats.
