Letter: The Pure Mendacity of Israeli “Genocide”

Dear editor:

Since October 8, 2023 the main stream media, thousands of Jew hating students, professors and Jews, the European Union and the antisemitic progressive wing of the Democratic Party have loudly proclaimed the calumny that the Jewish people of Israel have been committing “genocide” against the Palestinians. Nothing could be further from the truth, and such mendacious proclamations simply demonstrate the complete ignorance of all of the above individuals concerning Mideast history and the definition of genocide.

Genocide is the intentional reduction of a given ethnic or religious population to zero or near zero.

The actual numbers involved preclude anyone except a virulent antisemite from finding “genocide.”

1947/1948: 1 million Arabs from the river to the sea;

2023/2024: 11 million Arabs claim to be Palestinian.

Genocide? Genocide??

With a staggering population increase like that, some well intentioned people might be suggesting birth control.

But genocide? Give me a break!

Apparently antisemitism corrodes the brain in many ways, including loss of basic mathematical skills.
