The Gift Offered

The Gift Offered

I resist surrendering to what is –
Life the way I want(ed) it to be
Causes much anguish

Creation slows

I move towards simplicity
To know truth

The gift of poetry,
Gets me out of my own way
Which is much better
Than thinking I have any answers

I relax into greater truth

Your gifts awaken something in me
My gifts awaken something in you
In our offerings we move
Together towards Wholeness

As trustees of the Light
May we surrender
To what is

Our souls uplifted
Creation continues

About Todd Greenberg

Through prayer, worship, Torah Study, and Kabbalah I have been inspired to write poetry that tends more to the spiritual and mystical aspects found in Judaism. What comes "through" me I try to put into words. I hope that at least some of what I post to BJN will resonate with you and that you find inspiration from it for your own journey. Thank you for allowing to share my writings. Blessings, Todd
