I Have a Need

I have a need,
To start demonstrating again
At age 78.

To put myself
In harms way
In front of trump’s gestapo.

Do what you want with me,
But I will not stop shouting
That you are evil.

I’ve been waiting for others,
The young perhaps,
To do what is needed.
No longer!

I’ve become too comfy
In my old age.
No longer!
I will get in your way
Like I did during Vietnam.
