Several of our screenings are sold out, but there are still seats available for most of our films.
There are a limited number of tickets available for all three screenings of our popular Shorts program, curated by Judith Dack, but they won’t last long. Monday, November 11, noon / Thursday, November 14, 3 pm / Friday, November 15, 3 pm
You won’t want to miss our Veterans Day screening of “Telling Nonie” and the short “My Father’s Footsteps,” with guest speaker Professor Zach Levey. In this astoundingly relevant documentary, author and activist Nonie Darwish – founder of the Arabs for Israel movement – learns the truth about her father’s assassination 60 years earlier.
There are a few seats left for “Kidnapped,” a masterful drama from Italy based on a scandal that shook the Vatican in the 1860s and depicting the rhythms of life in the Sephardic community of the time.
Both screenings of “Running on Sand,” our uplifting Community Centerpiece, have a few seats still available. In this mistaken identity fable, a refugee passes as a soccer star in his desperate bid for freedom.
There are quite a few tickets remaining for the 3 pm screening of “Stella: A Life” on Tuesday, November 12. This German drama depicts a harrowing true tale of desperation in the Third Reich.
On Wednesday, both screenings of “Auction” have some availability. The ripples of the Holocaust continue to be felt in the international art world in this suspenseful French drama. Wednesday, November 13, noon / 3 pm
Friday’s noon screening of “Here Lived” also has seats available. This heartfelt documentary looks at the stumbling stone project that seeks to honor the Jews murdered during the Holocaust and to bring healing to their descendants.
A handful of seats remain for “Song of Ascent” on Sunday, November 17 at noon. Part concert film, part musical biography, this moving documentary follows Matisyahu on a journey through the post October 7 landscape.
We look forward to seeing you at the festival at the Dairy Arts Center for eight days of cinema and conversation.
