Sunday, November 10th, will be the 401st day that 101 people have been held hostage in Gaza by Hamas. 7 of those hostages are Americans (dual citizenship with Israel).
No matter what one’s politics, no matter who becomes president, this is a humanitarian crisis that needs to be addressed.
You can read more about these 7 hostages here. Tragically, three of the American hostages were murdered by Hamas and their bodies are being kept hostage. Time is running out for those still alive. We need a deal NOW.
We invite all City Council members to walk with us, along with anyone else in City Government who wants to walk in solidarity with these Americans.
We invite every synagogue to walk with us, every member at the JCC, every church, people of any denomination and no denomination.
Please share our posts on your social media accounts and on your list serves. We greatly appreciate your help getting the word out about our walks.
Bring an American flag, or just bring yourselves.
We will keep walking until they’re all home. It would mean so much to have you all walk with us too.
Let’s show people that Boulder has eyes on the 101 people still held captive in Gaza.
Let’s call out for their release. Let’s not be silent. Let’s be upstanders.

Join our Facebook group to see posts about each of the hostages. Copy and share them, add to their stories in the comments. Help keep the hostages in the headlines.
The local Boulder chapter of Run For Their Lives (part of the larger Bring Them Home Now initiative) has been walking in downtown Boulder every week. There are multiple groups like ours meeting internationally and across US cities (including a local Denver chapter). Our group has about 220 members, and has not missed a walk since Thanksgiving Weekend 2023.
Our group meets at 1 pm on the corner of Pearl & 8th and walks the length of the Pearl Street Mall and back, stopping at the courthouse for a brief video that the leads of Run For Their Lives include in their weekly recap. The goal is to share the message far and wide (specifically via social media) that the hostages have not been forgotten. This is not a protest; it is a peaceful walk to show solidarity with the hostages and their families, and a plea for their release.
When: Sunday, November 10th at 1 pm
Meet-up: Corner of Pearl & 8th Street
