Denver, CO:  The Jewish Experience is thrilled to announce its 22nd Annual Wine & Cheese Gala, set to take place on September 12, 2024, at 7 PM at The Broadway, located at 950 N. Broadway, Denver. This signature event has become a beloved tradition in the Jewish community, drawing attendees from across Denver for an evening of gourmet dining, friendly competition, and meaningful connection. As our primary fundraising event, the Gala also serves as a showcase for The Jewish Experience’s unique programs and offerings, highlighting the impactful work we do throughout the year.

This year’s Gala will feature the exciting finale of the Kiddush Cup, where The Jewish Experience’s outreach educators and their dedicated lay leader teams will compete for the coveted title. Attendees will have the opportunity to dine on a sumptuous array of savory treats, delectable desserts, and the renowned cheesecake crafted by Chef Cheryl Leban, all while casting their votes to determine the winner. The event promises to be a celebration of the very best in Jewish outreach and community building.

Rabbi Raphael Leban, Managing Director of The Jewish Experience, shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The Wine & Cheese Annual Gala has been our signature event for 22 years. Over the years, the Gala has featured a variety of competitions, from desserts to photography, but this year’s focus on outreach is particularly fitting. “This year, our very own outreach departments and their lay leadership are competing against one another in the very thing which The Jewish Experience does best—outreach and engagement,” added Rabbi Leban.
