Addressing Antisemitism: Strategy and Resources
Monday, December 4
6:30 – 7:30 pm | FREE
The Israel-Hamas war has led to a rampant rise in antisemitism in the United States. From college campuses to communal spaces, antisemitic incidents are up nearly 400% since the war began. Why does this historically happen during times of Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and what concrete steps can we take to address it? The Boulder JCC is collaborating with Project Shema to bring you this special program, led by their Executive Director, Oren Jacobson. Project Shema trains and supports the Jewish community and allies to understand and address contemporary antisemitism, with an emphasis on how anti-Jewish ideas can emerge in discourse around Israel and Palestine. To be very clear, the conversation will not focus on Israeli policy and actions, but rather how it is impacting Jews in the diaspora. THIS IS A VIRTUAL PROGRAM.
