surrender

surrender

surrender not to hate, nor to violence,
surrender not to war, nor destruction,
surrender not to a world where these are the solutions.

surrender to loving kindness and prayer,
to being vulnerable and open.
surrender to patience and understanding,
to what is real, and to what is true.
surrender to our broken hearts and to hope,
to new beginnings and peace.

surrender to the Eternal Light – to the Ein Sof,
surrender to Hashem – to YHWH.

surrender only to what can heal this world,
to Love and Joy!

About Todd Greenberg

Through prayer, worship, Torah Study, and Kabbalah I have been inspired to write poetry that tends more to the spiritual and mystical aspects found in Judaism. What comes "through" me I try to put into words. I hope that at least some of what I post to BJN will resonate with you and that you find inspiration from it for your own journey. Thank you for allowing to share my writings. Blessings, Todd
