Upcoming Activities for Colorado Hebrew Chorale and Kol Nashim

Sunday, March 5, 7 pm-8pm MST on ZOOM.  Kol Nashim will continued its series, Jewish Leading Ladies of  Broadway.  Mimi Raizen will focus on Barbra Streisand who is a legendary actress and whose career has spanned over six decades. From performing in nightclubs in Greenwich Village to starring as Fanny Brice in the hit Musical Funny Girl. Her performance was so revered that the show only received a revival in Summer of  2021. Streisand was the star of many films including Funny Girl, Yentl, A Star is Born, What’s Up Doc, Hello Dolly and many more.  Registration and information: www.coloradohebrewchorale.org.

Tuesday, May 23, 7 pm MDT at Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 S. Ivanhoe Street, Denver 80237.  Kol Nashim’s  annual spring program, Woman to Woman will celebrate Israel at 75 and will give tribute to Israeli survivors of domestic violence. Woman to Woman supports the Jerusalem Shelter for Battered Women which has been severely impacted by the pandemic. Every dollar raised will make an enormous difference in the lives of families affected by domestic violence.
