Celebrate Havdallah – LIVE AND IN-PERSON! – with Beth Ami Congregation

Saturday, June 19 at 6:00 pm (note that this is earlier than usual)

We will meet in the Waneka Lake Picnic and Boathouse area, 1600 Caria Drive, Lafayette, for a bring-your-own-picnic event. We will have juice to taste, spices to smell, and a brief service to read.  We’ll then engage in a lively conversation about the significance of Juneteenth to both the African American community and to Humanistic Judaism. Weather permitting, you might want to enjoy a walk around the lake, which is a flat and beautiful 1.2-mile stroll.

It is not required, but your RSVP at our Meetup page will help us better plan for this event.

Beth Ami is a welcoming community where we connect to Jewish past, celebrate Jewish present, and link to Jewish future through a humanistic philosophy. Let’s do Jewish together – Humanistically!
