Celebrate Israel Independence Day with JEWISHcolorado

Lace up your best steppers for the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest walk and community celebration in honor of Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day, on Sunday, May 5.

At South High School, friends will gather for the annual Walk for Israel and Community Festival, complete with kids’ activities, community program tables, and hands on actions we can all take to build our Jewish world. The event is free, but participants must register in advance.

West Lawn 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
2 mile Walk for Israel begins promptly at 9:30 am

After the walk, enjoy:

  • Live music,
  • Israeli dancing,
  • photo booth,
  • community partner tables
  • Kids activities galore, including bubble tower, train rides, face painting, balloon artist
  • Enjoy food trucks on site
