The Art of Storytelling

Storytelling is an art form that dates back to the beginning of time. As a way to connect with history and teach life lessons, story telling is an integral part of the Jewish experience. For kids especially, stories are an entertaining, educational, and often meaningful way to share information.

Join the Boulder JCC and Congregation Bonai Shalom on Sunday, November 13 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm for an exciting and educational afternoon of storytelling for kids ages 3-9 and their parents. Led by storytellers Rabbi Marc Soloway and educator Caroline Saliman, the afternoon will incorporate stories for kids as well as techniques for parents to become expert storytellers themselves. The day will finish off with group stories, crafts, and a yummy pizza dinner.

The event is being held at the Boulder JCC, and the program is $10 per family.  Register here by November 9 and babysitting is available for children ages 1-3. (Must be requested in advance by November 6.)
