JCRC to Honor Gov. Bill Ritter at Annual Luncheon

JCRC to Honor Gov. Bill Ritter at Annual LuncheonIt would be great to have a Boulder presence at this year’s Jewish Community Relations Council Luncheon where the JCRC will honor former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter and attorney Elliott Husney on Thursday, June 16 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (program starts at 11:30 am) at Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape St., Denver, 80220. Ritter will receive the JCRC’s 2011 Public Official Recognition Award.

Ritter is currently the director of the Center for the New Energy Economy (CNEE) at Colorado State University. He was elected as Colorado’s 41st governor in 2006. In July 2010, Ritter traveled to Israel with Federation on the Colorado Economic Development & International Trade Mission. The mission focused on exchanging knowledge, advancing research and building partnerships in innovative fields such as renewable energy, clean-tech, water and agriculture.
