Teen years have never been easy for young people, But it’s gotten even harder in today’s fast-paced world to navigate these years with clarity and confidence. An upcoming workshop being offered by two Boulder parenting specialists called “Bridging the Gap: Communicating with Your Teen While Building Trust and Boundaries” can help.
The workshop will be held on three consecutive Tuesdays, April 22, April 29 and May 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nevei Kodesh, 1925 Glenwood Drive. The cost is $150 or an individual and $250 per couple.
Some of the topics that will be explored in the 3-part program will be:

- Understanding brain development to maximize your parenting skills
- How to self-regulate to regulate those around you
- The difference between boundaries and punishments
- Setting limits with consistency and warmth
- Negotiating age-appropriate autonomy
- Building and repairing trust with your pre-teen/teens
