Notwithstanding the continuing delusions of New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, there is no significant difference between the antisemitic genocidal purpose of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. The ONLY difference is that the PA wears suits and Hamas wears keffiyeh. (See: “President Trump You Can Remake The Middle East If You Dare”, New York Times, 1/21/25). Mr. Friedman continues to credulously describe an “upgraded and reformed West Bank Palestinian Authority.” A few months ago he called for a “reformed” Palestinian Authority. Now he is calling for an “upgraded and reformed” Palestinian Authority. You cannot upgrade and reform genocidal sociopaths.
The enabling document of the Palestinian Authority is the 1964 PLO Charter which demands the annihilation of every Jew in Israel. Has the Palestinian Authority/PLO revoked these annihilation of Jews clauses? Of course not. Those annihilation of the Jews clauses as per Article 33 of the PLO Charter requires a notice of a meeting for revocation and an actual meeting where revocation is approved by a 2/3 vote. There is no provision for oral revocation. Not by Yasir Arafat or anyone else. No such meeting has ever occured. Therefore every member and supporter of the Palestinian Authority remains committed to the annihilation of every Jew in Israel.
Further in violation of US Federal law (the Taylor Force Act/ 22 USC 2346) the Palestinian Authority continues use millions and millions of dollars glibly given by the Biden/Harris administration to pay bounties (“the Pay for Slay” program) to Islamic sociopaths and their families to murder hundreds of Jews including infants, children, women and Holocaust survivors. It is identical to paying the salaries of the Auschwitz guards who poured Zyklon B into the crematoriums.
In fact, the Palestinian Authority still EMBRACES the command of Nazi war criminal and Arab leader the Grand Mufti Amin al-Husseini — a hero of Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas — who in 1947/1948 when he rejected a two state solution offered by the United Nations said: “Murder the Jews. Murder all of them”.
It should not be forgotten that the West Bank includes eight Arab clans that despise everything about the Palestinian Authority. (See:” No Retreat”, Amir Avivi, pp 80-81, 2024).
To replace Hamas with the Palestinian Authority is like replacing the Nazi S.A. with the Nazi S.S. notwithstanding Mr. Friedman’s continuing antisemitic myopia about the jew killing Palestinian Authority and everyone of its supporters in the Mideast and America.
The reality is that Thomas Friedman’s continuously encouraging the Jewish people of Israel to work with the antisemitic genocidal Palestinian Authority is identical to the Judenrate’s continuously encouraging the Jewish people of Europe to work with the Nazi S.S.
