There were 26 Jewish Boxing World Champions between 1910 and 1940.

Thursday, October 12 | 7 – 8:30 pm | $15

Boxing was an integral part of American culture during the first half of the twentieth century, second only to baseball in popularity. It was also a heavily Jewish sport with 26 Jewish world champions from 1910 to 1940. Join the Men of the J for a night of discussion with Meg Frisbee, a History Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
