Our music is ascending to a new level at Bonai Shalom – and I am not talking volume! Please join us THIS FRIDAY, March 29 at 6:00 pm in soulful prayer and song to bring in Shabbat, accompanied on guitars, mandolin, violin, flute, clarinet, bass, drums and voice, including yours! We are blessed to have a diverse and talented group of musical talent, coming together to create prayerful magic. Generally, we put down our instruments at the end of Kabbalat Shabbat, light candles and have an acapella maariv service, led this week by Eitan Kantor, of the popular local Jewish band, Hadgadba, our gifted musical director. After services, please stay for a simple Shabbat dinner. Bonai Shalom will provide soup, challah, and some dessert. Feel free to bring other vegetarian food to share, but please note the kitchen will be closed. Future dates: May 17th* May 31st, June 19th, August 16th, September 13th.
All are welcome and we hope to see you there!
*May 17th will be a special service as part of Shabbat honoring Hannah Kapnik Ashar and her family. Hope to see you there!
