Tisha B’Av Study Session with Rabbi Greene

Rabbi Fred Greene
Rabbi Fred Greene

Rabbi Fred Greene, Congregation Har HaShem’s new senior rabbi, will be leading a study session on Sunday, July 26th at 10:00 am in the North Building of Congregation Har Hashem. Tisha B’Av is the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av. It is a memorial day marking the destruction of the First and Second Holy Temples in Jerusalem.

This year, the 9th of Av falls on this Shabbat, so the fast day moves to the 10th, which is this Sunday.  Come gather on the morning of July 26th, the 10th of Av, to learn about this holy day and help find a meaningful Reform Jewish approach to a day traditionally marked by mourning. Everyone is welcome.
