With some new faces and wonderful new melodies, we are excited that our popular Musical Friday Night Services are back! Join Jackie on mandolin, Aron on guitar, Jenna on violin, Wayne and surprise guests on drums for a spirited, joyful prayer experience to help transition from the week into Shabbat. We invite you to participate with your soulful voices and harmonies to raise roof in Shabbat song. This musical prayer journey will be led by Rabbi Marc and we will be playing instruments throughout Kabbalat Shabbat, followed by a few words of Torah and a traditional, acapella maariv service! We start our music promptly at 6pm and invite everyone to join us for a potluck Shabbat dinner by the creek, following services (we will relocate to the social hall if the weather demands.) Bonai Shalom provides challah, grape juice and compostables, you bring food and drink to share.
The kick off service is this Friday, May 29th at 6:00 pm. Future dates: June 26th, July 24th and August 14th.
