Boulder History Museum's speakers series, Boulder Conversations with Extraordinary People, this month features Rabbi Jamie Korngold.

Adventure Rabbi Next Speaker in Boulder History Museum Series

The Adventure Rabbi – Jamie Korngold

The Boulder History Museum has assembled a list of fascinating local speakers – any of whom you would enjoy sitting next to.  Its once-a-month speakers series, Boulder Conversations with Extraordinary People,  provides the perfect forum.Attendees enjoy wine and cheese, then gather around for a personal talk by a significant local. That person often provides little-known details of their own backstory. Began in 2009, the series has hosted well-known notables like Frank Shorter, Mo Siegel, and Josie Heath.

We ask our speakers to talk about their lives and the significant moments that led them to where they are now,” says Nancy Geyer, Boulder History Museum CEO. “The result has been some truly unforgettable talks.”

January’s Conversation is with Rabbi Jamie Korngold, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Known as “The Adventure Rabbi,” Rabbi Jamie’s spiritual work combined with the outdoors has been featured in the New York Times, NPR and Good Morning America, among others. She is the author of God in the Wilderness and nine other books.

Enjoy a glass of wine and light appetizers while listening to Rabbi Jamie Korngold share her personal story at the Museum of Boulder,  2205 Broadway, NW corner of Broadway & Pine, Boulder.  Buy your tickets early!
