Colorado Chabads to Host Event for Rebbe’s 20th Yahrzeit

3 Tammuz 5774, which falls this year on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014, marks 20 years since the beloved teacher “the Rebbe” Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson passed away.

To commemorate this occasion, the 15 Colorado Chabad centers have organized an evening at Denver’s Jewish Community Center (JCC) at 7:00 pm Tuesday July 1st. The event is free of charge.

The evening will feature guest speaker Rabbi Ari Shishler – founder of the Jewish Life Center in Sandton, South Africa, and rabbi of Chabad of Strathavon – who will offer inspiration from the Rebbe’s life, and insight into its continued impact on ours.

Rabbi Shishler who has appeared numerous times on South African TV and enjoys translating spiritual principles into real-life lessons, sprinkles his presentations with humor and personal anecdotes.

This evening will offer an important perspective into the life of the Rebbe, whose inspiration invigorates Chabad’s work in Colorado and around the world each and every day.
