Boulder JFS Seeks Friendly Visitor Volunteers

Boulder JFS Friendly VisitorAre you looking for a meaningful way to spend an hour a week? Boulder Jewish Family Service (JFS) is seeking three Friendly Visitors for elderly women in Longmont and Louisville. As a Friendly Visitor, you give the best gift you can give another: friendship.

Check out the information below about the clients seeking volunteers and contact Ingrid Swords at Boulder JFS, 303.415.1025 or iswords@jewishfamilyservice.org for more details.

  •  A woman who recently moved to Longmont lives alone and is isolated. She would like someone to visit with and occasionally go out in the community for errands or social activities.
  • An extremely bright, intellectual woman living in Louisville is looking for a volunteer to visit her and to take her on social outings.
  • A retired lawyer, who is a voracious reader and animal lover, relocated to Louisville to be near her son. She seeks someone to visit her in her home and go out for coffee or lunch occasionally.

Thank you in advance for considering this volunteer opportunity!
