In a twist, Boulder JFS, who is usually looking for volunteers to visit seniors, is now calling for seniors who would like a regular visitor. Are you one? Do you know someone?

Over 400 volunteers in the Jewish community will participate in the Christmas Mitzvah Project and relieve employees at local charitable organizations, healthcare facilities and various senior living facilities so that employees may spend Christmas Day with their loved ones.

Give yourself and an older adult in the Boulder area a gift by becoming a Friendly Visitor volunteer through Boulder Jewish Family Service.

Jerry and Gail Sloat have been longtime supporters of Boulder JFS. Their first contact with JFS was when Jerry volunteered to sound the shofar at a JFS High Holy Day service in an assisted living facility 35 years ago!
