January Classes at Bonai Shalom

There are four amazing classes coming up in January at Congregation Bonai Shalom.
Mark your calendar now, for at least one of these exciting classes:

Sunday Morning Learning with Rabbi Marc Soloway, 10 am – noon
January 9 – Shabbat Kodesh – Understanding the Seventh Day
Note location: 1459 Cherryvale Road, Boulder. Please join Rabbi Marc, at his home, for a class on the origins and practices of Shabbat, our central day in Jewish life.
(Prayer and Jewish Liturgy coming in February & March)

20th Century Jewish Thinker Series Taught by Rabbi Marc Soloway
Thursday, January 20: 7-9 pm
Seek My Face: Exploring the Theology of Art Green
Professor Art Green’s visit to Boulder last year shortly after the release of his newest book Radical Judaism was a great success and stirred up some people too! In this class, we will study sections of Seek My Face, Speak My Name and immerse in the waters of this modern, mystical theology.

Post Holocaust Europe: The Jews, Israel, and Anti-Semitism
Dinner & Discussion with Bill Safran
Friday, January 21, after Kaballat Shabbat, around 7:30 pm
Dr. Safran will give a talk about Jews, Israel and Anti-Semitism. A discussion will immediately follow. For members: Dinner -$18 for adults, $10 for children. For non-members: $24 for adults, $15 for children. RSVP to the office by Wednesday, January 19th.
