Exclusive Preview of First Bite Boulder

The Boulder Jewish Community Center and ten local restaurants have joined forces to offer an exclusive preview of First Bite Boulder as a fundraiser for the Boulder JCC’s Cornerstone Capital Campaign. On November 2nd from 6:00 – 9:30 pm at the Boulder Theater, approximately 500 people will eat, celebrate, and experience the excitement of the new JCC facility as the night will showcase never before seen renderings of the future interior spaces.

In April 2010, the Boulder JCC reignited and embarked on the Cornerstone Capital Campaign. Since that time, the community has come together in extraordinary ways to raise more money than any other Colorado Jewish capital project as well as what is estimated to be more money than any other local non-profit in Boulder other than the hospitals and the University of Colorado Boulder. Now, with the first submission to the city in the near future and potentially within a year of construction, the goal is set to finish the campaign.

This event will celebrate the community’s success and provide an opportunity for all members of the community to come together and donate to this once in a lifetime project. Hazel Miller will provide an evening of entertainment as guests eat Boulder’s local fare. The restaurants participating and donating their food and services are Absinthe House, Centro Latin Kitchen, Japango, Jill’s, Laudisio, The Rib House, Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant, Tahona Tequila Bistro/The Steak Room, West End Tavern, and Zolo Grill. In addition Sweet Pea Catering is providing a kosher option and Spice of Life Catering will serve desert. The event is underwritten by the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation and the Boulder JCC Cornerstone Capital Campaign.

A limited number of spaces are still available. The Taste of What’s to Come for the Boulder JCC costs $18 admission.
