Walking for Freedom: Hostage Solidarity in Boulder Sunday

*We are stronger than hate.*

More than 100 people walked with us last week and this week. We appreciate your solidarity. And the hostages’ families appreciate ours. We are still walking until all 50 are home. Please join us in a humanitarian walk every Sunday in downtown Boulder until all the hostages are back, whether for reunion and healing with their families, or for a proper burial.

We will gather at 10:30 am as we did last week so people have a little time to connect, and then we will do our silent walk down the mall. Armed security will be present.

We will have flags from multiple countries with connections to the hostages.

We are grateful to those who have walked alongside us since November 2023, and to all those who have joined us along the way since. There are more than 330 of us now in the Boulder group. It is inspiring.

As always, this walk is not a protest; it is a peaceful walk to show solidarity with the hostages and their families, and a plea for their release.

Sunday, June 29nd marks the 632nd day since 240 hostages were kidnapped from Israel and taken to Gaza. 50 of them still remain captive there, 20 who should be home with their mothers and families, and 30 who deserve a proper burial. Please – join us this Sunday to walk for all those still held hostage, and to honor those injured on June 1. The world cannot forget. Please bring posters and wear red.

The local Boulder chapter of Run For Their Lives (part of the larger Bring Them Home Now initiative) has been walking in downtown Boulder every week since Thanksgiving, 2023. That’s 84 weeks. There are 231+ groups like ours meeting internationally and across US cities (including a local Denver chapter).

Wherever you are, whether visiting friends or family or vacationing, you can join a group and walk with them, or walk on your own and post a video in the main Run For Their Lives Facebook group, in our local FB group, or on your own feeds. The initiative’s goal is to get as much press coverage as possible for the hostages through publicizing these walks.
