The Boulder Jewish Film Festival Announces Six Additional Screenings

For those who went online to buy tickets to the Boulder Jewish Film Festival only to find many films already sold out, I apologize.  While I am gratified by the strong demand for tickets this year, I understand how frustrating it is for my loyal and enthusiastic audience.

The good news is that we have been able to add six additional screenings, which I hope will allow many of you to see the films you are most excited about.

The always popular shorts program, Peacocks, Pops & Pepchook, will have a third screening in the Boedecker Theater on Monday, November 11 at noon.

Running on Sand

Our Community Centerpiece, Running on Sand,” will be shown again on Monday, November 11, at 6:45 pm in the Boedecker Theater.

The stunning German drama Stella: A Life will be shown in the Boedecker Theater on Tuesday, November 12 at noon.

Auction,” a provocative drama from France will play in the Boedecker Theater on Wednesday, November 13 at noon.

Seven Blessings

Seven Blessings,” our closing night feature film about a Moroccan wedding celebration in Israel, will have a repeat screening in Boedecker Theater on Thursday, November 14 at noon.

The Catskills,” a nostalgic look at the unique Jewish playground, will be shown in the Grace Gamm Theater on Saturday, November 16 at 3 pm.

A Real Pain

I am still hoping to be able to add one more screening of A Real Pain,” but it has not yet been confirmed by the distributor. However, this wonderful new dramedy will be playing theatrically by the time the festival opens, so it is the one film in the festival available elsewhere.

Tickets for all these additional screenings are now available online, or by calling or visiting the box office.

The Hartman Box Office is located at the Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut St, and is open daily noon-6 pm. Phone: 303.444.7328.

If a film is sold out, please email jodi@boulderjcc.org to be put on our waitlist.
