Save the Date: Boulder Jewish Festival on June 4

The Boulder Jewish Festival is back on the Pearl Street Mall on Sunday, June 4, 2023. This free annual event features a full day of festivities, including bands and performances, a Jewish food festival, a curated marketplace showcasing fine art and Judaica, and family-friendly activities provided by our community organizations. The Boulder Jewish Festival is open to everyone and is an opportunity to connect and educate. At its core, the festival is a lively celebration of Jewish arts and culture.

After a two-year COVID hiatus, the Boulder Jewish Festival returned to Downtown Boulder in 2022 with great crowds, expanded food offerings and a new volunteer committee. With the success of the 2022 event, this year is shaping up to be better than ever. Participants can expect to see at the 2023 festivities face painting for kids and the returning of The ShutterBus VW Photo Booth Bus. The music stage will be moved to the Pearl Street Mall “bricks” for more opportunities of dancing and interaction. As part of the festival, JewishColorado has made a special grant allocation to support Israeli entertainment in celebration of Israel’s 75th Anniversary. The full schedule of musicians will be shared soon.

“One new feature we are really excited about is our Sustainability Tent,” said Joy Alice Eisenhauer, Festival Director. “Sustainability is an important Jewish value and there are many organizations in Boulder doing great work in this area. We will have interactive activities for the kids and a variety of organizations represented to teach and inspire.”

With lots going on for all ages, it will be fun for the whole family, locals, and visitors alike. Be sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, June 4 from 10 am – 5 pm and invite your friends and neighbors to join you for live music, engaging activities, and delicious food.
