The board of Congregation Bonai Shalom is pleased to announce that we have hired Jennifer Herrington as our new Executive Director. Jennifer will be a great addition to our team and we all look forward to working with her, especially as we start the school year and prepare for the High Holidays.
Jennifer will be getting oriented to our office operations this week. We are working on an event where the community can meet and greet her in person.
Jennifer grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan and was a member of Temple Beth-El. She moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1994 to attend University of Colorado where she received a degree in business administration. Jennifer worked as a director and manager for a nonprofit conservation organization for 20 years in Colorado. She received a master of arts in psychology and human services focusing in nonprofit management from the University of the Rockies. Jennifer also has been a Colorado real estate broker for 18 years primarily used those skills for land conservation and management. Jennifer is passionate about protecting the environment and creating community. She loves living in Boulder and enjoys hiking the local trails and skiing in the mountains. She has a 14 year old daughter, Lelah who is beginning her high school journey this year.
Jennifer is thrilled to serve Bonai Shalom in this role and is looking forward to getting to know the community.
