Jonathan and Shelley Bein, who are well versed in classical piano, were also tremendously enthusiastic about the music and pianist, Jamina Gerl.  Please treat yourselves to this delightful event! German pianist Jamina Gerl has been praised by critics as an “extremely subtle musical designer” whose “tense and differentiated piano playing of artistic depth” is always “deeply connected with the sound and structure of the music.” Jamina grew up in Bonn, Germany, and studied at the Hochschule für Musik Kölnas well as in the USA. Recent performance highlights include appearances at Steinway Hall NYC, the German Embassy in Washington DC, Carnegie Hall, and a NYC orchestral debut of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto Number 3. The selected works for Ms. Gerl’s current program includes compositions by Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Liszt.
