Adventure Judaism to Offer Free Hebrew Reading Lessons

  • Want to be able to read the Hebrew parts of a service?
  • Wish you could understand what your child is learning in Hebrew lessons?
  • Wondering what is written on a matzah cover or even a loved one’s tombstone?

Starting October 15, 2019, Adventure Judaism’s Hebrew Instructor Amber Gitter will be offering five weeks of free Hebrew reading lessons for adults who know little or no Hebrew. Thanks to a generous grant from NJOP (formerly National Jewish Outreach Program), the lessons are free and students can participate online or in person. The classes will be held on Tuesday nights at the Adventure Judaism’s Headquarters in South Boulder.

What you need to know:

  • Geared for adults with no or little Hebrew knowledge
  • Participate online or at our Boulder office
  • Learn the fundamentals of reading Hebrew
  • This is not a conversational Hebrew class, although we do offer that
  • Build a Jewish identity
  • Be better equipped to follow along with your children’s education or at services
