The objective of a Death Café is to ‘increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their ‘finite’ lives.” People are free to come and go, to talk or not talk as they feel in that moment. Be Curious! Have fun!
This Death Café…
** is on Tuesday, October 28 at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary, 2969 Baseline Road (parking is in back). 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
** is a forum to discuss death with no expectations or intention to lead anyone to any course of action or conclusions about life or death.
** is an unstructured, open, respectful space free of discrimination where people can express their views safely.
** is a respectful dialogue that allows people to explore their questions, hopes, fears and dreams, and consider how their Jewish heritage may influence their reflections on dying, death and afterlife.
** is always held on a not-for-profit basis and includes food or drink, whether brought or bought.
