Boulder Homelessness Panel is Wednesday

The Congregation Bonai Shalom Social Action Committee is hosting a panel discussion to address these questions on Wednesday, August 22 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  BJN’s headline yesterday was in error and we regret any confusion that we may have caused.

This program is designed to begin a community dialogue on this very important issue that affects all of us.  Beth Ornstein will moderate a panel that includes: Sara-Jane Cohen, Member, Tikkun Olam Committee, Congregation Har HaShem; Scott Medina, Volunteer Coordinator for Bridge House; Kimberley Kym Dray, homeless board member of Boulder Outreach for Homeless Overflow (BOHO); and Bill Sweeney, Treasurer and board member of BOHO.

The panel will address the role of Boulder’s faith communities with regard to homelessness.  The panel will consider what we can do individually and as part of our Jewish community to help the homeless in our community.

Please join Bonai’s Social Action Committee for an enlightening, thought-provoking program.  The evening will include ample time for questions and discussion and will conclude with light refreshments. At Bonai Shalom, 1527 Cherryvale, Boulder.
