Join IAC at the Boulder JCC Monday night, April 20 for the community's Yom HaZikaron commemoration.

"I restate my position that I am an unashamedly Zionist rabbi in a Zionist synagogue within a Zionist movement, and I will be mourning the losses with Israelis in our community on Monday night at the JCC, and celebrating Israel’s 78th birthday on Tuesday night. "

For 20 years two Israeli-Palestinian groups have observed this solemn day by sharing their loss and their dreams and hopes for Peace.

Yom Hazikaron Gives Jewish Community A Chance to Honor Fallen Soldiers and Innocent Victims of Terror.

Two events planned by the community for the community honor Israel on its 70th anniversary this week!

Yizkereim: Honor Israel’s Fallen, a project of Olami in partnership with The Afikim Foundation and Israel’s Ministry of the Diaspora, is preparing for Israel’s 70th anniversary by remembering the 23,632 people who died defending and protecting the State of Israel.

Plan to spend Sunday night and Monday night at the Boulder JCC, commemorating Yom Hazikaron and celebrating Yom Haatzmaut.

We invite the entire community to a special Israel Memorial Day ceremony at the Boulder JCC on Sunday, April 30th.

Please join the community for a short Yom HaZikaron service the evening of May 11th as we remember the fallen heroes of Israel.

The Boulder Jewish Film Festival sponsors two films, one commemorating Yom Hazikaron, the other celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut.
