BJCF Announces 2009 Grants; Includes Boulder Jewish News

Shortly before Yom Kippur, the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation announced its 2009 grantees. In 2008, the BJCF gave grants to 17 organizations; in 2009 the grantees totaled 22 local Jewish charities providing services within Boulder County including, for the first time, the Boulder Jewish News.

Chabad of Boulder Draws Crowd with Shofar Factory Event

Shofar, Sho-good! Chabad Lubavitch of Boulder County put on a Shofar Factory just before the High Holidays.  The successful event drew over 250 people including kids and adults from Boulder Jewish Day School, Hebrew High and the Boulder JCC Preschool. 2009 Boulder Jewish Festival Rocks Out!

Boulder celebrated the 15th annual Jewish Festival on the Mall in spite of some mid-day rain on Sunday, June 7th.
