Our amazing nonprofit has an exciting opportunity for an energetic go-getter to recruit volunteers to expand the volunteer program in the Boulder area. Will engage in the strategic growth plan for the Boulder office of Jewish Family Service (JFS). Oversee the Friendly Visitor program to identify volunteer matches and client support needs. Coordinate and staff Jewish Holiday and Shabbat celebrations. Provide administrative duties to support the team.
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field, required. MSW in Social Work, Gerontology or related human services field, preferred. Minimum two years’ experience in a volunteer services program or customer service-related position. Experience working with older adults. Able to comfortably engage with a diverse population. Nonprofit experience and an understanding of the Jewish community and traditions, preferred.
This position is part-time at 18.75 hours/week.
