Shavuot is a mysterious holiday. This commemoration of receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai isn’t given a specific date for its celebration; instead we are told in the Book of Exodus to schedule it seven weeks from the second night of Passover.

On Saturday, May 28th, 2022, Madden Scheff will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah with Adventure Judaism.

Henry was an active seeker whose Jewish identity was important to him. In fact, my husband, Rabbi Scheiner remembers Henry telling him that he got much more involved in his Jewish roots when he moved to Boulder.

Two startlingly different and divergent award winning Westerns, which are surprisingly similar in their motifs, come to my mind. I love the connection of numbers and Torah. In macro-terms, Torah is the blueprint of the universe. What is the secret of six? Henry Leplin Rasof, of Boulder, CO, passed away peacefully last Sunday, April 17, 2022.
