We are saddened to announce the passing of Betty Gelt, beloved mother of our dear friends Zvi (Ted) and Shoshana (Sharon) Gelt of Greenwood Village. Click on the headline for more details.

On October 31st, 2009, Kayla Goldstein will be called to the Torah at Congregation Bonai Shalom as a Bat Mitzvah.  Kayla is the daughter of Josh and Arti Goldstein of Boulder, and she will be reading from Parashat Lech-L’cha.

On October 31, 2009, Andrew Pollack and Michael Topping will be called to the Torah at Congregation Har HaShem as B’nai Mitzvah.  Andrew is the son of Linda and Chris Pollack and Michael is the son of Debra and Stephen Topping.  They will be reading from Parashat Lech L’cha.

Izaak Weiss will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on October 24th, 2009 at Congregation Nevei Kodesh.  Izaak will be reading from Parashat Noach.

Jacob Bloom will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on October 24th, 2009 at Congregation Bonai Shalom.  Jacob is the son of  Ilyse Bloom of Boulder, and will be reading from Parashat Noach.

Katie Hersch will be called to the Torah as  Bat Mitzvah at Congregation Har HaShem on Saturday, October 24th, 2009.  Katie is the daughter of Jeff Hersch, and she will be reading from Parashat Noach.

On October 17th, 2009, Eli Rogers will be called to the Torah at Congregation Bonai Shalom to read from Parashat Bereshit.  Eli is the son of Joel Rogers and Ruth Lieberman of Lafayette.

Bob Meals passed away in Hospice Care on October 5, 2009. May his memory be for a blessing.

Michele Cohen's mother Bella Newman (Beily bat Shaul v'Ida) passed away Tuesday evening, September 29 (Tishrei 11, 5770). May her memory be for a blessing.

Sarah Quiat will be called to the Torah for her Bat Mitzvah at Congregation Har HaShem this Saturday, October 3, 2009. Sarah is the daughter of Dan and Meg Quiat of Boulder and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Quiat of Denver.

Sarisa Rawley and Sarah Kaufman will be called to the Torah for their B’not Mitzvah at Congregation Har HaShem on Saturday, September 12, Parashat Nitzavim-Vayeilech.

Eve Gritz-Wolfe passed away on Saturday, September 5th.

Samantha Stovall will be called to the Torah at Congregation Bonai Shalom on Saturday, July 25, 2009.

Elijah Rosenfeld will be called to the Torah at Congregation Bonai Shalom on Saturday, July 11, 2009, Parshat Pinchas.

Al Steinberg passed away this morning at Boulder Community Hospital after falling into a coma on Thursday night. There will be a memorial service tomorrow (Sunday, June 28th) at 4pm at Bonai Shalom, preceding a burial in New Jersey on Tuesday. We wish strength and comfort to his wife Elaine, …
