Ice Cream “Saturdae” Havdalah
Beth Ami is hosting an Ice Cream Social under the shade of the cottonwood trees of the Waneka Lake Picnic area (1600 Caria Drive, Lafayette) on Saturday, Aug 15, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Whether you have never been to one of our events before or you are a regular Beth Ami attendee, we’d love to see you there. We will provide the ice cream (regular and nondairy), please bring a favorite topping to share!
We’ll gather for a brief, meaningful Havdalah. Then cool off with sundaes, leaving plenty of time to nosh, schmooze, and build friendships. We’ll wrap up with a casual (optional) 1.2-mile nature walk around the lake, where you can enjoy stunning Front Range views and perhaps spot an osprey or pelican dropping by to feed at the lake.
Come learn more about how we explore Jewish identity humanistically and get to know some new friends. We can’t wait to see you there!
