Shabbat shalom! In case you somehow missed all the mentions and ads over the last few months, tomorrow night, April 18th is the Boulder JCC’s JFest Party at the JCC. We hope you were able to secure tickets and that we’ll see you at the party!
Coming up on April 26th, Boulder’s own Jewish community historian, Roxanne Bailin, will be giving a talk at Congregation Har HaShem on the history of Jewish Women of the Wild West. Her talk will highlight the important roles these women played in building communities, maintaining traditions and shaping Jewish life on the American frontier. Registration is still open.
In September, we began a new column with Rabbi Charna Rosenholtz, a 12-part column exploring the spiritual and psychological wisdom of each Hebrew month. Drawing from Torah, Kabbalah, Mussar, and seasonal awareness, each installment highlights core themes, practices, and reflections to help ground us in sacred time. Join us on this monthly journey through the Jewish calendar. We are now closing out the month of Nissan, so be sure to check out this latest entry. Links to her earlier columns are included. Next week will feature the month of Iyyar as we celebrate Rosh Chodesh tomorrow night along with Shabbat.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our brothers and sisters under attack in London, West Bloomfield, Australia, the UK, Israel, Ukraine, and in Boulder. Am Yisrael Chai!
Here are the stories from this week.
