Lafayette’s Favorite Chanukah Tradition Returns: Sing-Along Under the Stars

LAFAYETTE, CO – The Boulder County Center for Judaism invites the community to celebrate Chanukah in Lafayette on Sunday, December 14th at 4:00 PM at the Lafayette Festival Plaza. This beloved annual tradition brings together families for a magical night of festive songs and lighting a grand menorah.

This year’s celebration will feature a live Chanukah sing-along under the stars with musician Micha’el Miller, whose heartwarming melodies have become a cherished part of holiday cheer every year.

“Chanukah in Lafayette has become a tradition that gains more participants each year,” says Chany Scheiner, Co-Director of Boulder County Center for Judaism. “It’s a beautiful opportunity for our community to gather in unity, celebrate Jewish heritage, and spread light together.”

The festivities will include:

  • Live Chanukah sing-along with Micha’el Miller
  • Lighting of Boulder County’s grand menorah
  • Hot apple cider and fresh homemade sufganiyot (traditional jelly doughnuts)
  • Complimentary Chanukah gift for all who RSVP

The event is free and open to all, regardless of background or affiliation.

Now’s the time to show our pride for being Jewish and stand as one in Jewish unity. To add light and illuminate the world.
