Letter: Councilperson Adams’ Anti-Israel Rhetoric

Letter: Councilperson Adams’ Anti-Israel Rhetoric

Dear City Council,

I am writing to you once again regarding material that Council Member Adams is sharing on her social media accounts. I’ve previously written to you regarding her comment that glorifies Hamas and dehumanizes the Israeli hostages who’ve been held captive for 600 days today (and counting).

In Adams’s latest posts, she once again illustrates an anti-Israel bias and promotes BDS. The news that Adams is so taken aback by is an IDF operation to address terrorist funding and operations that are present all throughout Nablus and other areas of the PA controlled West Bank areas. Does Adams not see an issue with the funding terrorist groups or does her hatred towards Israel affect her views? We all know the answer.

Additionally, Adams supports BDS, which is a much larger movement to demonize Israel. This is honestly ironic because she uses Meta and Google products, which are on the BDS list. As you can imagine, most who promote BDS don’t actually follow the boycotts themselves, but have no problem telling others to do such.

I’d like to add that Adams was also in Israel when a Jewish woman was brutally murdered on her way to give birth to her fourth child after a terrorists in the West Bank opened fire on her, but don’t expect Adams to comment on that.

Please remove Adams from her role as the liaison to Nablus. She has a huge biased against Israel, which inhibits her ability to provide proper oversight as required.

Best,
Elise Mordos
