Celebrate Lag B’Omer at a Festive Pre-Shabbat BBQ Dinner

Celebrate Lag B’Omer at a Festive Pre-Shabbat BBQ Dinner

Boulder Center for Judaism would like to invite you to an extra-special celebration in honor of the holiday of Lag Baomer on Friday, May 16, at 4:30 pm.

This gathering will be centered on the patio of our new center at 2810 Jay Road and will feature a deluxe BBQ pre-Shabbat dinner, open bar, live spiritual music, and a craft for children.

On Lag B’Omer, communities across the world, gather to celebrate the life of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the father of KABBALAH.  Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai was a famous first-century Tannaic sage and the author of the famed Zohar, the chief work of the Kabbalah.  Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai requested that all people inspired by his teachings come together in unity and celebration on his day of passing.
