Chanukah Sameach, and welcome to the last Weekly Edition of 2024! This is another short week, since Thursday and Friday are chag days for Chanukah. See you again next week/next year!
Here is Morah Yehudis’ take on this week’s Torah portion which is filled with Chanukah goodness as well, since this week’s parsha always coincides with Shabbat Chanukah. Make sure you also check out our Chanukah YouTube playlist! This year has a definite “Wicked” angle.
The weekly walk in support of the hostages continues this Sunday, December 29th. Meet at 1 pm at Pearl St. and 8th.
There are two Giant Menorah Lightings coming up — the first is in Lafayette on Night 2 (December 26th) and the second on the Pearl St. Mall in front of the Courthouse Lawn on Night 6 (December 30th).
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our brothers and sisters under attack in Israel, Ukraine, and the women of this country. Am Yisrael Chai!
Here are stories from this short week:
