Denver, Colorado — Clean Speech Colorado is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2024 Clean Speech Campaign. This year, Clean Speech Colorado offers all-new daily videos for adults and an exciting new series of animated videos for children, creating an accessible and family-friendly way to learn the principles of respectful speech together.
With recent surges in political tensions, rising antisemitism, and escalating global conflicts, Clean Speech Colorado’s message of mindfulness in communication couldn’t come at a more important time. Since 2018, Clean Speech Colorado has led campaigns to promote constructive, respectful dialogue. Its reach has extended across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, impacting hundreds of thousands. This year’s campaign is designed to bring families, individuals, and communities together to communicate without contempt, disdain and disrespect — the kind of speech we all need right now.
“This year’s upgraded videos address the primary topic of mindful speech, avoiding hurtful and harmful language,”said Rabbi Raphael Leban, founder of Clean Speech Colorado. “It’s certainly timely, considering the heated election season, as well as the uptick in antisemitism. It’s really amazing how two minutes a day can produce real change. This program works.”
Each of the 30 new videos is part of the Volume 1 curriculum, a foundational program on mindful, positive speech. Adults can dive into meaningful reflections with daily video lessons, while children and families can enjoy age-appropriate animated stories designed to spark conversations about mutual respect, careful listening, and refraining from verbal denigration.
The new family video series allows parents and children to watch, discuss, and practice mindful speech together, creating a unique bonding experience around values of empathy and sensitivity. From the home to the classroom, and even the office, Clean Speech Colorado continues to innovate ways to make mindful speech a communal practice.
“It’s so nice for a family to have wholesome content to watch together, that really promotes the type of pleasant, respectful and sensitive communication we want in our homes,” said Rabbi Samuel Ross, director of The Family Experience, an outreach department of The Jewish Experience.
This November, join Clean Speech Colorado and thousands of others committed to making the world a kinder, more respectful place—one word at a time.
