Congregation Bonai Shalom is excited to announce that they are now the proud owner of 6018 Oreg Avenue on the Boulder Jewish Commons. This acquisition marks a significant milestone toward the congregation’s vision of moving into a new building, bringing them one step closer to realizing this long-held dream.
The congregation extends its deepest gratitude to the Oreg Foundation for their generous donation of the land, and to all those who helped complete the transaction, which was finalized in October. For now, the Boulder JCC will continue leasing the property to operate its forest school and day camp. When Bonai Shalom is granted approval to break ground on their new building, the JCC will move its programs to another part of Boulder Jewish Commons.
This momentous occasion coincides with the 20th anniversary of Rabbi Marc Soloway’s service as rabbi of Congregation Bonai Shalom. A celebration honoring the past, and building the future, was held in August, featuring a beautiful ceremony blessing the new land that included spiritual leaders of many faiths and traditions.

We are excited to move forward with our new building to serve our current congregational growth and the needs of our community for generations to come.
