Shabbat Hike + Tashlich for High Holidays with Beth Ami Humanistic Jewish Congregation

The Jewish New Year is a time of reflection and renewal. Begin your personal process with a High Holiday Tashlich experience followed by an optional Shabbat hike. Our alternative Tashlich is an opportunity for contemplation in a beautiful setting.

Greet the Jewish New Year 5785 in a culturally relevant way, honoring our traditions and creating meaning for today. Transform the practice of Tashlich or “casting off sins” into a welcome embrace of our individual and community wishes and plans for the coming  year. Then, if you like, continue with a hike along the beautiful South Mesa Trail. You may want to bring a blanket or camp chair as there is no seating near the creek. Remember to bring water and dress for the ever-changing Colorado weather. 

Note: We will be collecting donations of non-perishable foods and toiletries for Community Food Share at this and our other two High Holiday gatherings.
