BOULDER, CO (February 2024) — “UnBroken: Would You Hide Me?,” an award-winning documentary feature film about seven siblings who escape Nazi Germany through their own youthful bravado and the kindness of German strangers, will screen twice at the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) this March.
The screenings will take place:
Friday, March 1, 1:30 p.m., at Century Boulder
Sunday, March 3, 12:15 p.m., at Boulder High School
“UnBroken” follows the daughter of a Holocaust survivor who embarks on an international quest to uncover answers about her mother and her mother’s six siblings’ escape from Nazi Germany. Emboldened by their father’s mandate that they always stay together, the children overcome incredible obstacles before and during their journey to a new life in America.
“UnBroken” won the Best Documentary Premiere Award at the Heartland International Film Festival in October 2023, and was named Top Ten Best of the Fest at DOC NYC in November 2023.
Producer and director Beth Lane will attend both screenings at BIFF. Tickets are $18 per person, or $17 for seniors, and available at the links above.
