This Sunday February 18, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Chabad of NW Metro Denver presents a musical evening honoring the memory of Westminster holocaust survivor Estelle Nadel (1934 – 2023). The event is being held in conjunction with the January book launch of her illustrative memoir “The Girl Who Sang,” a holocaust memoir of hope and survival. The book was released in January just a few months after Estelle passed away.
The event will feature:
- A musical ensemble of holocaust and soulful Chassidic melodies by the Colorado String Quartet
- Charcuterie boards, wines, drinks and desserts
- A FREE COPY of Estelle’s book individually signed by her husband Fred will be gifted to each guest.
- Remarks and Memories by Estelle’s family members

About Estelle Nadel
Holocaust survivor Estelle Nadel moved to Westminster from California in 2004 and continued to devote her time in educating the community especially children about the holocaust through her own story of survival during the war. Over the past few years, Estelle worked on publishing her story into a graphic memoir, “The Girl Who Sang.”
